Basilique Notre-Dame de Montligeon

The Basilica of Our Lady of Montligeon is building a Gothic Revival located in the French town of La Chapelle-Montligeon in the department of Orne , and built between 1894 to 1911 by the architect Mr. Tessier.
 
It is dedicated to Our Lady, the Liberator of souls in Purgatory . It is naturally dedicated to prayer for the dead.
Its windows are reputable and have the double feature establish a broad overall view of glass art in 1917 to 1971 , and to address only the single theme of Eschatology and the Communion of Saints .
 
The centennial anniversary of the basilica is celebrated during the year 2011 (official opening of the Holy Door on May 31 at 17:30 Vespers of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary, closing November 16 at 18:30 Vespers of the Solemnity of Our Lady liberating).
