Rainha do Rosário e da Paz (Queen of the Rosary and Peace), Itapiranga, Amazonas, Brazil
Commemorated on May 2
Our Lady appears in Itapiranga, in northern Brazil to the young Edson Glauber, who sees Mary as a very beautiful seventeen year old. Mary tells him she is the Queen of the Rosary. Sometimes she comes with the Child Jesus in the arms of St. Joseph, and speaks of the consecration to the most chaste Heart of St. Joseph. St. Joseph appears with a heart on his chest and in his heart there is a M with a cross, as if to indicate that the three hearts are always together. The mission he was given is to pray for the young, for their conversion, for peace and for the world. History
Timeline
Oct 27, 1972
Edson Glauber is born. The young man becomes a student of economics at the University which is a five-hour drive home, or alternately hemust arrive by boat sailing along the Amazon River.
May 2, 1994
A first appearance took place in Manaus. The young man saw the Virgin with Jesus and St. Joseph. When Edson inquired why the Madonna chose to appear as mother and son, he was told: "Because I want to show all my children all over the world, the love of a mother that I have for my son Jesus and love of a son that Jesus has for me. For this I chose to appear as mother and son to represent this love."
He portrays the image as well as he saw it and their three hearts are gathered on the same level: that of the Virgin, pierced by a cross, radiating light to the heart of Joseph, which in turn radiates light to the land and into the heart of the little Child Jesus, in the arm of St. Joseph, on the right side of the picture, but aligned at the same height as the other two without the image giving significance or priority to any one person.
The mission he was given is to pray for the young, for their conversion, for peace and for the world.

Death of Bishop Jorge Eduardo Marskell, S.F.M.. He had remained at a distance from the spritual fruits of the apparitions such as the reported healings and apparently was also unfavorable to the apparitions, according to Mons. Rene Laurentin (Dictionary of the Apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary p. 950).

In her last public appearance in Itapiranga, Our Lady warns that she would no longer appear in that place, because she had already said what she wanted to convey to people. Now it was the time when it was necessary to put into practice her teachings.
The apparitions were repeated in Edson and of his mother, because Our Lady wanted to continue to guide them and pray with them for the Church and for the world, family and peace.
1998-2000
The Virgin Mary appeared several times to Edson during meetings with groups of young people in Brazil, both in Brazil and in Italy (the latter meeting he organized to continue the work begun in Itapiranga).
2001
Since 2001, Our Lady appears frequently on Saturdays, during the prayer meeting that takes place in home of Edson. In addition to her request to evangelize, Our Lady asked Edson to create in Itapiranga a soup kitchen for needy children, a chapel in memory of the workers who died in the thirties in that region and bring the water flowing in the place of appearances to the sick to obtain healing. Many spiritual fruits of conversion and change of life are associated with this appearance.
On August 5, after five years of general and pastoral verifications, the current bishop of Itacotiara, Archbishop Carillo Gritti, I.M.C.,(2000 - present) publicly celebrated Mass in the place of the apparitions, moreover, in noting the spiritual fruits of his faithful, he worked to contruct a sanctuary. Archbishop Carillo Gritti met on several occasions with Edson Glauber and other times his mother, Maria do Carmo.

Archbishop Carillo Gritti, I.M.C. of Itacoatiara (2000 - present) approved the supernatural character of the apparitions in a statement: "CONSIDERING THESE OPINIONS, TESTIMONIES AND DEVELOPMENTS AND pondering all this IN PRAYER AND THEOLOGICAL REFLECTION, EVERYTHING LEADS ME TO FINDING THAT THERE IN APPEARANCES Itapiranga a supernatural origin."
