The population Trebbio (from Latin trivium, a place dedicated to religious rituals from ancient times) is the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Grace, erected after the apparition of the Virgin Mary in 1548 and renovated in 1740, and since then it is a place of pilgrimage from Romagna from the neighboring Marche. There you can admire the canvas, dear to popular devotion, which the Renaissance painter Pompeo Morganti painted in the aftermath of the apparitions, summing up his brush scrupulously depositions and trial of the young peasant woman who had the vision and the landscape in its details, including the castle easily recognizable with the walls and the tower.
History
After the double apparition of Our Lady to two humble people, the young and the Lucantonio sixty Antonia, which took place on the road Trebbio between June and July 1548, it was erected on the same site, the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Grace, here it keeps the grinder crusher with the imprint of the feet of the Madonna, who settled down from the sky.
