Festival of Saint Liberatus Martyr and Our Lady of Victoryis celebrated on August 19th. For the feast the statue of Our Lady of Vicory is processed through the streets of San Marco La Catola. The town is adorned with lights and fireworks displays can be seen in the evening. The festivities feature a Game of Jaletta, during which riders representing their respective districts will compete in a test of dexterity, which consists in inserting the traditional sharp rod in the slot below the tub full of water called jaletta.
